To Our Zero Xeno Family,

In these unprecedented times, we want to assure you that Zero Xeno's top priority continues to be the welfare of our customers, team members and product integrity. We have enhanced our safety protocols and sanitization plans as we follow the guidance of provincial and federal health experts at the BC Center of Disease Control, and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a small-scale operation, we are able to ensure all our staff follow good hygiene practices and facility sanitation protocols at all times.

To augment our current stringent sanitation plan, we've implemented additional hourly sanitization of all work surfaces. We use 75% food-grade alcohol (ethyl alcohol/ethanol), 20 ppm colloidal silver, 7% solution of food-grade hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and/or 0.2% sodium hypochlorite as well as ultraviolet light (UV) to sanitize all areas of our facility. UV-C light is the high-energy portion of the UV spectrum which studies have proven effectively destroy the DNA of bacteria, viruses and fungi including the Coronavirus. Other studies have shown various types of the Coronavirus can be effectively inactivated by H2O2 and/or ethyl alcohol or sodium hypochlorite. The antibacterial properties of colloidal silver against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria have been scientifically proven, which is why we augment our sanitation plan with this cleaning agent.

Additionally, we have re-organized our work-spaces to provide required social distancing between team members with the requirement of gloves and masks to be worn at all times and changed frequently. Any staff who exhibit flu-like symptoms will be identified and required to stay home for the required 14-day period.
